Good
Oncologica was at the height of Covid. No interview was necessary I was called up by the Hr director and offered a Job on the spot to start within the next couple days. I was given a 24 hour physical training session to show what the ENTIRE company did in each department regardless of which department you were placed in. A lot of Training documents to complete each month too which kept everyone up to date on all their work sheets. Working In the lab multiple shift patterns offered - I worked evenings. The evening shift consisted of around 15 staff and NO MANAGEMENT available to talk to regarding issues. At the fast pace we were going we were responsible for every single PCR test that come through the door even when the workload was nearly impossible to complete. If not completed regardless of how many samples (hitting 80,000 a day) we would be penalised and sometimes backlog was entirely unpreventable. They relied on overtime of all staff and over working (although we were offered an amazing 3x payrate for overtime due to the mass of work) . However on the flip side it was a completely welcoming company, all the staff were lovely and we had an amazing team bond and good communication within our shift patterns.

rushed interview process, not much structure however fun place to work
the interview for this job seemed very rushed and almost as if they were desperate for staff, work at Oncologica was fast paced and was brilliant in terms of keeping sharp and switched on, however most of the problem solving was due to lack of management on our particular shift resulting in having to figure out our own ways to solve issues. However, it was a great working environment and made many news friends during my time there.
