Do they care
Having apoken directly with the recruiter and been given a very positive review this recruiter never replies to queries or calls. I have had to apply to roles with the recruiter through others in the team and have us to complete the candidate submission form myself in order for her to submit my application - which is her job. I am still waiting (4 weeks and counting) for a response from the recruiter.
