Extremely easy application process (only CV and cover letter required) Contacted by phone to arrange interview, with a follow up confirmation e-mail. Only one face to face interview, very relaxed even in the current circumstances, felt safe and at ease. I had to prepare a 10 minute presentation ahead of the interview. Interview went well and I received a phone call to advise of the outcome by the time I was advised with personalised feedback. No negatives, unfortunately another person with more experience was chosen.

Unfriendly online application process, all data to be typed in. Three suitability statement questions to be answered. The interview was set for and took only 15minutes, with only 3 competency based questions. It felt like the job had already been allocated to someone else and the interview was only a tick box exercise to make up the required numbers. The decision was communicated far later than advised during the interview. This was done over the phone and the "personalized" feedback was simply that "they were looking for someone with more minute taking experience" despite this not being an essential part of the role. In addition to this, the vacancy add did not advise what department or services the job will be under so it was impossible to do any meaningful research to prepare for the interview.

The NHS application process is unfriendly, having to type in all details. No CVs or cover letters allowed. 3 suitability statements required. Interview was face to face, around 30 minutes, only 5 competency based questions. Interviewers were nice and it felt relaxed. Requested personalised feedback but they advised it was not available due to the amount of applicants, despite the fact that their decision communication advised that this was available from the recruitment team.
